Avoid Being an Idiot

Here are my favorites from this week:

• I had heard rumors of my friend Twomey blogging. I found the blog this week and its pretty good. Twomey plays a mean guitar and though he’s skinny I’d bet he could fight.
• Chris Reeder has put together a nice series this week. He’s had guest bloggers answering the question, “What advice would you give to a guy that has been called into church planting, but sometimes feels that he has no idea what he is doing?”Its been real good. My favorites are here and here.
• Jeni is a procrastinator. And we had a lot of fun looking at Flair on Facebook Wednesday night. Anytime you can combine Seinfeld jokes, 80s music, Chuck Norris, and “what you talkin’ bout Willis” into an evening it is a lot of fun.
• Gary’s post on change was great. Either you love your position or you love the vision.
• Stetzer’s new research was interesting. I haven’t read enough of it to comment yet. What are your thoughts?
• And the most favorite thing about his week and every week: My beautiful wife, Shannon. Just a couple of highlights from our week: she made me pancakes for brunch before graduation yesterday; we played softball Thursday night (I caught both fly balls that came to me in left-field–I’m ecstatic!); we watched our NCIS and Law & Order:SVU on Tuesday, our two favorite shows. I love you, Shannon.
