Avoid Being an Idiot

Highlights from blog world:

• J.D. Greear had two really good posts. The first was on The Summit Church’s mission strategy. The second was about the Southern Baptist Convention. Since I am SBC, I appreciated his analysis.
• Chris Reeder is continuing his series of asking church planting advice (which is also good advice for those who are not planting churches. My favorite this week was from Dustin Willis who says, “don’t be a church planter, be a missionary.”
• Andy posted an entry from his journal from 2005. It was his day from hell.
• Tony Morgan has a new look for his blog. I like it though I’m not sold on the brown. But I’ll defer to the Tony the Church Blogging Guru on this one.
